Position Description:


MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS: 

The School of Business and Economics at the College of Charleston has an opening for 2 tenure track positions at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 2003.  The School is accredited by AACSB in both its business and accounting undergraduate programs.  We are seeking a candidate to join our faculty in the Management/Decision Sciences area who will primarily teach undergraduate courses in MIS.  Experience in teaching Business Statistics, and/or P/OM classes will be a plus.  Excellence in, and a commitment to, teaching are required, but active research, publication and public service are also expected.   Prior industry experience and involvement in community activities is desired.  International orientation desirable.  Ph.D. or D.B.A. in relevant field preferred, but ABD’s near completion of dissertation will be considered.  Send letter of application, vita, three letters of reference and graduate transcripts to Dr. Kent N.
